Elegance, combined with a lively sense of humor characterizes the Wire Fox Terrier: Indeed so lively is he, that at times he seems likely to explode from sheer high spirits. He frequently stands " on the TIP-TOE of expectation" to the extent that he appears to have no feet at all.
The ears and tail are his barometer, the tail straight up or slightly pulled over the back and many times, quivering with repressed excitement.
The expression of the eyes, merrily mischievious, can change at a moments notice to the hauteur of unamused royalty, while a cold, piercing stare, worthy of an avenging angel, gives ample warning of wrathful intentions. The Wire is one of the few dogs who will outstare a human.

HISTORY:
I have been involved in dogs and loved dogs all my life. I purchased 2 companion Wires in 1993. I was so enchanted with the breed that I purchased my first Show quality Wire in 1995. It has been a wonderful experience being involved with this breed. They are very intelligent and just a lot of fun to be with. I have bred and finished 12 American Champions, 11 Canadian Champions, 10 International Champions, and 2 Junior Earthdog. We are looking forward to more showing this year.
We are very excited about some of the upcoming pups. We enjoy watching them mature and grow into wonderful family dogs and shows dogs. These dogs know how to make themselves loved. I have enjoyed meeting the many people at the shows and the people that come to us for puppies. As the years go on we hope for many more wonderful dogs and are looking forward to meeting a lot more doggy people and friends.
